For over 25 years STL Trauma has provided building maintenance services to clients in residential, commercial and industrial settings. In our time working with these clients, occasionally we would be approached by hotels asking us if we knew anyone who was qualified to clean highly dangerous materials such as those from backed-up sewage or blood borne pathogens.

We couldn’t find many professionals in the field of cleaning up blood, feces, animal remains and other regulated biohazard waste. At best the workers we could find were moonlighting figherfighters and paramedics. However, many other workers were inexperienced cleaners, not familiar with the rules and regulations that govern hazardous waste cleanup, sanitizing and disinfecting.

Through these experiences over 20 years ago, we recognized a need for a trauma scene cleaning service in the St. Louis Metropolitan Area. Over the years we have built a trained cleaning staff of experienced workers, and have acquired OSHA Certification in 29CFR1910.1030, which governs the remediation of biohazard contaminants in workplace and residential settings. The burden of finding a cleaning solution after traumatic circumstances need not be trying. Insurance has covered trauma cleaning services for every client in our more than 20 years of experience.
